Life swap is a shock for Newcastle lass

FILMMAKERS were at Edgeworth Polo Club this week shooting for a new series called Poor Little Rich Girls.

Club player Charlotte Reather, from Cirencester, was filmed jetting off to Newcastle where she swapped roles with Leanne who plays in an all girl rock band.

A spokesman for Granada said the programme is about "average girls who swap their roles with very rich girls".

During her week-long stint in the area, Leanne is understood to have had a flower arranging lesson, attended the gym, played polo and socialised with some of Charlotte's friends.

"The week has been going really well. I think Lee (Leanne) is really enjoying herself, but it's a stark contrast to where she comes from so she's probably a little bit bored," said Charlotte's best friend Caroline Gibbs this week.

"Lee is not used to the countryside, but she's really lovely, really sweet," she added.

Viewers can see what happens to Charlotte, who writes on polo matters for a number of national newspapers, when the programme airs in the summer.
