Earthfall brings its new show to Stroud on April 16

BAFTA award-winning company Earthfall brings its new show Running Away with the Hairdresser to the Subscription Rooms, Stroud, on Friday, April 16 at 8pm, in a joint promotion by Prema and the Subscription Rooms.

A soap opera of extreme dance, image and music, the show has a depth and black humour that draws from cinema, stand-up, opera and farce to create a heady mix of vital contemporary performance.

With echoes of Hitchcock, Tarantino and Bill Hicks, the audience sees people in rooms with secrets and yearnings, and chance meetings which result in passionate, comic and fierce encounters.

Earthfall has won a strong following for its unique performance style: its shows (I Can't Stand Up for Falling Down came to the Sub rooms most recently) feature multi-disciplined performers and musicians who are inspired by personal memories and a wealth of source material from Shakespeare to film noir.

Tickets from the box office on 01453 760900.
