Easter Craft Show Aids Purton Charity

FOLLOWING two successful Christmas Craft Shows and another one held last summer, it has now been decided to hold two shows annually in Purton, in aid of Purton Helping Hands which supports local elderly, disabled and needy people.

The Easter Craft Show will be held in the Village Hall, Station Road on Sunday April 4, from 10am to 4.30pm.

Crafts on display, which are also for sale, include mosaics, handcrafted jewellery, wooden boxes and other hand painted items, cards and framed keepsakes, cushions, wood turned artifacts, pyrography, miniature furniture, soft toys, knitwear and handicrafts, paintings and photographs.

The Easter Craft Show also features egg painting at 10.30am, 3D spring pictures at 11.30am, Easter egg making at 2pm and Easter cards at 3pm.

The 2004 Christmas Craft Show takes place on Sunday, November 14.
