London gallery paintings without London gallery prices

THE Lansdown Art Club's Spring Exhibition runs from Saturday, March 27 to Saturday, April 3 at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud when over 150 works will be for sale.

Prominent in the show will be contributions by Janet Whitton whose work was voted best in show at the Club's last exhibition, and other prominent artists. Janet's painting entitled Willows at Little Barrington, was published in the Leisure Painter magazine.

Janet's work is exhibited in galleries around the country and other well known painters such as miniaturist Eric Moreton, Eric McGregor, Pegg Ward, Joan Bestwick and Val Jones, who also exhibit nationally, will be offering pictures for sale at prices far more reasonable than those charged by their London galleries.

Works by 26 artists will be for sale from £30-£350.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am-5pm, except Sundays. Admission is free with donations going to the Cotswold Care Hospice.
