Children have a horribly good time at the library

KIDS had a horribly good time when a famous children's book illustrator/author visited Stow-on-the-Wold Public Library.

Tony de Saulles, illustrator of the Horrible Science series of books, held a one-hour workshop at the library.

He encouraged children to give free reign to their imaginations by helping them draw freaky pets, to which they gave weird names.

Tony, who also wrote the Internet Vet book series, later held another such workshop at Moreton-in-Marsh Public Library.

Gloucestershire County Council Library and Information Service organised the workshops to encourage people to use their local public libraries.
