Ryan Dix, this year's Juniors' captain, led his 12-strong team in a warm-up match against the club's seniors on February 17.
Twelve juniors took part with senior members Competing in a fourball betterball friendly, the outcome was an honourable draw.
The club are hoping to boost junior players this year by introducing a new golf passport scheme, supported by the Golf Foundation.
This scheme provides a format of coaching skills presented by the club assistant professional which is designed to take all members through the various skill stages.
The training programme is designed to give juniors knowledge of how to play in a competent manner and within a safe environment.
The first part of this programme, for those players already holding handicap certificates, took place during half- term week with three mornings of instruction.
Further courses are scheduled through this year for all members.
In addition, Cirencester Golf Club have introduced a special Academy Membership for young juniors who are not yet ready to play on a full 18-hole course.
Utilising the club's superb facilities, which include a six- hole par-three Academy course, juniors will be able to receive a safe and controlled introduction to the game through this membership.
Juniors organiser David Marshall said, "We are very pleased to be able to introduce this nationally recognised structured training programme for our juniors.
"The programme we now have in place will give local juniors every opportunity to develop their golfing skills in a safe environment."
