Antiques Antics ERIC Knowles is one of those rare individuals who is able to share his extensive knowledge of the world of antiques in a manner that is easily understood.

With over 20 years working on the BBC's flagship programme The Antiques Roadshow under his belt, Eric has become the friendly face of what for many years was a business shrouded in a certain amount of mystery.

In Antiques Antics, which he brings to the Sundial Theatre in Cirencester on Saturday, February 28 at 7.30pm, the lad from Lancashire takes the wraps off a business in which he has been immersed for more than three decades.

The first part of the evening is given over to what are quite often irreverent anecdotal reminiscences, ably supported by excellent images.

The audience is invited to arrive up to an hour earlier with treasured items in order to get a free valuation. In the second half of the show Eric will discuss some of these items.
