New exhibition at a Cirencester art gallery

A NEW exhibition of contemporary paintings, sculpture, ceramics and glass is currently on show at the recently-opened Wonderwall Gallery in Gosditch Street, Cirencester.

The exhibition, called A Winter Warmer, features the work of artists from both the Cotswolds and across the country.

Appearing at the exhibition's opening were a number of the exhibiting artists, including the internationally-recognised painters Sara Hayward and Paul Powis.

Sara was a pupil of the Royal College of Art and her work includes seascapes and formal gardens.

Paul's distinctive landscape paintings have been shown all over the world and he has recently completed work for the cruise ship Queen Mary 2.

The exhibition continues until the end of March.
