Violinist performing at Wyvern Theatre

CHARISMATIC violinist John Clarkson introduces and plays three masterpieces from three centuries, by Mozart, Brahms and Prokofiev, when he comes at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon.

John has previously appeared at the Wyvern as a member of various orchestras but he brings his own show here for the first time on Sunday, February 29 at 7.30pm.

Darlington born John studied at the Royal College of Music in the early 1960s and since then has played with such prestigious orchestras as the Halle, the Glubenkian Chamber Orchestra, the New Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

He has also played in many quartets and trios as well as performing solo.
