Choir's spring concert

WESTONBIRT School's highly acclaimed senior choir presents its Spring Choral Concert on Friday, February 13 at 7pm in the school's Great Hall, as part of the popular Music at Westonbirt series.

The theme for the concert is A French Evening, and the programme is a selection of popular classics by French composers.

It will include three pieces by Faure (Requiem, Cantique de Jean Racine and Tantum Ergo), Poulenc's Litanies a la Vierge Noire, and a harp solo by Ruth Kenyon.

The girls will be accompanied by a string ensemble and the school's organist, Robin Baggs. The conductor will be Westonbirt's director of music, Malcolm Pike.

Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection. There is plenty of free parking and access for wheelchair users.
