Hunt for Cirencester's top ten telephone numbers - we're nearly there!

READERS of our ever-popular nostalgia column The Way We Were have been helping to solve a telephone numbers mystery. And our campaign has been so successful we've only one number to find!

Recently a reader stumbled across an advertisement for Baily and Woods shop in Cirencester Market Place, which gave their telephone number as Cirencester 4.

Who or what, the reader wondered, had the number Cirencester 1?

Two weeks ago the column's author, Peter Grace, launched a hunt to find Cirencester's top ten telephone numbers. Now there's just one more number to find to complete our top ten.
