Aladdin at the Everyman

AT Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre, where Aladdin opened on Friday, November 28, the fun has already begun in a pantomime written specially by the Everyman's artistic director, Sue Colverd, who also directs.

Aladdin is played by Dylan Williams, and Daniel O'Brien (Mr Whiteside in ITV's My Parents are Aliens) is the Genie of the Lamp and the Mandarin, while Mark Roper who has appeared in television series including The Bill, Coronation Street and Grange Hill, will have you splitting your sides as Widow Twanky. Roger McKern (Eastenders, Between the Lines and the Narnia Chronicles) plays the dastardly Abanazar.

It's an evening of fun, dancing, surprises and happy ever after and it runs until Saturday, January 10. Tickets from the box office on 01242 572573. end
