Jack and the Beanstalk in Bath

IN the production of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Theatre Royal, Bath, Coronation Street favourite Sherrie Hewson plays the Fairy and Chris Harris is Dame Trott in what promises to be a truly magical treat which will enthrall the kids and amuse the adults.

James McCourt, former presenter on the Disney Channel and lead singer with In 2 Deep, is Simple Simon and Graham Seed (Nigel Pargetter in The Archers) is the King. Kate Weston, commentator and presenter on Sky Sport, is Jack and Shaun Curry (Les Pinner in Just Good Friends) is the evil baddie, Fleshcreep, the giant's henchman.

The show, with its tale of Daisy the cow, magic beans, a bellowing giant, a goose which lays golden eggs and two boys trying to please their poor old mother, runs from December 18 to January 25. Tickets from the box office on 01225 448844.
