CIRENCESTER United FC put in one of their best performances of the season to earn a point at Winterbourne in Saturday's Hellenic Division One West 0-0 draw.
With Martin Richings not available, Gary Probert returned from University to bolster the defence alongside Warriner and Reeves and they formed a formidable partnership all afternoon.
Playing up the slope, the front two of Potter and Robinson were proving a handful for the Bristol side's defence, though any clear- cut chances were few and far between.
Phil Scarlett whipped in an excellent free kick which just eluded Dave Reeves' attempted header and a Scarlett corner was glanced wide by Chris Robinson.
The second half saw a similar pattern to the first with both teams working hard.
Mat Hanks came on for the final 25 minutes and linked well with Graham Robinson, who looked to have won it for United with five minutes left but his goal-bound shot was blocked with the keeper beaten.
Jon Austin produced another excellent display in midfield, but the whole team can be pleased with their commitment and attitude.
