New season at Sundial

THE Sundial Film Club based at Cirencester College starts its second season in September.

The first season was very successful and brought lots of comments and compliments from all those who came.

There is currently a membership of around 60 people and its is hoped to increase that number during next year.

As an incentive to join, the club is offering a complimentary drink for any member who succeeds in signing up a friend or guest.

So if you sign up ten guests you are entitled to ten drinks, though perhaps not all at once.

The films which the club is showing in the first part of the season are Place Vendome (September 24), Mrs Dalloway (October 15), Code Unknown (November 4), Thelma and Louise (November 19), Devil's Backbone (December 2), and Regeneration (December 17). All these films except Mrs Dalloway (PG) have 15 certificates.

The six films to be shown after the Christmas break will be taken from the following list: Chocolat, Monsoon Wedding, Throne of Blood, Solas, The Navigators, Spider, Cool and Crazy and Life is Beautiful.
