RURAL cinema in the South Cotswolds is really taking off as people find how stress free and convenient it is to pop down to their village hall and share an evening's entertainment with friends and neighbours - all for the price of hiring a video.
This month's offering from the Cotswold District Council is Chicago (15) directed by Rob Marshall and starring Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta Jones, Richard Gere and Queen Latifah.
Everyone loves a legend but in Chicago there's only room for one. Velma Kelley burns in the spotlight as a nightclub sensation.
When she shoots her philandering husband, she lands on Chicago's famed murderess row, retains Chicago's slickest lawyer, Billy Flynn, and is the centre of the town's most notorious murder case, only increasing her celebrity.
It's a great film and one not to be missed.
