Jake and Elwood are out on parole

THE Blues Brothers are out on parole and they're hitting the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham for one last time from Monday to Saturday, September 8-13.

For the final time ever, Jake and Elwood will be cruising into Cheltenham for a fantastic musical party.

Joined live on stage with their six-piece band and their famous backing singers, The Bluettes, they'll be performing the classic rhythm and blues hits made famous by the film starring Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi.

They do such a good job that The Blues Brothers is the only musical officially endorsed by the John Belushi estate.

Jake and Elwood fans have the perfect excuse to dress as their heroes when they come to the evening performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday because they'll get their first drink in The County Bar free!

The Blues Brothers first got audiences shaking their tail-feathers in 1991 and since then the show has gone on to become one of the most successful musicals of all time.

The show, which has grown into a phenomenon, will raise the Everyman's roof with stomping songs and blues belters including Soul Man, Everybody Needs Someone, Jailhouse Rock, Shake a Tail Feather and Respect.
