Can you dig this talk?

GARDENING guru Joe Swift of BBC's Gardening World comes to the Bingham Hall, Cirencester on Thursday, September 11 to give the Royal Horticultural Society Regional Autumn Lecture in conjunction with Stratton and Baunton Horticultural Society.

He will talk on Modern Garden Design, something about which he knows a great deal since, as well as his television appearances, he has been called upon to design many UK gardens, including the water garden at Kings Heath, Bournville Garden and the Gardeners' World Live show garden.

He has also been a presenter/designer on Take 3, co-presenter on the Chelsea Flower Show, Gardeners' World Live and Tatton Park Flower Show, and design judge on BBC's Gardener of the Year.

He has written a book, The Plant Room, and writes for the national press and on gardening websites, as well as giving many talks on horticulture. He also has a famous father - Clive Swift of Keeping Up Appearances.

Tickets for his Cirencester lecture (7 for 7.30pm) from Cirencester TIC, from Pam Webb on 01285 653826 and at the door.
