Play social or serious hockey in Cirencester

CIRENCESTER Hockey Club, which runs four weekly men's teams, two ladies' teams and a ladies' Sunday side, is offering both league and social hockey to suit all abilities.

There is also an active junior section from age eight years upwards for boys and girls with regular coaching and matches.

All home games and coaching sessions are held on the astroturf at Cirencester Deer Park School and the club enjoys post-match hospitality in a private room at Riverside House, Mitsubishi, where supporters and families are also welcomed.

Club trials: ladies - Saturday August 30, 11am-12.30pm; men - Saturday August 30, 1-2.30pm.

These are being held at Cirencester Deer Park School astroturf and the first matches start on Saturday, September 6.

Training is also held at Cirencester Deer Park School and coaching includes a fitness element (please note: no studded footwear). Dates and times as follows:

U16s boys and girls, Wednesday 7-6.30pm, starting September 10; men's, Wednesday 8-9.30pm, starting Septem-ber 3; ladies, Thursday 8-9.30pm, starting September 4; U13s boys and girls, Saturday 10.15-11.25am; U11s boys and girls, Saturday 9.15-10.25am, starting September 13.
