ONE week after taking off on a solo trip around the United Kingdom Angela Robotham touched down at Kemble Airfield.
The 48-year-old from Bristol is a principal engineer and has only been flying for the last 19 months.
She is a member of BCT Aviation Kemble and undertook the challenge to raise money for the Children's Hospice South West Appeal.
She said: "It was the furthest I've ever flown.
"There were two bad weather days which meant I had to fly twice the hours in one day but it went really well.
"The freedom from being constrained by roads and traffic is a great feeling."
Ms Robotham, who flew a G-BOFY, started her flight on July 26.
On her journey she took in around 25 aerodromes, stopping in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Wales.
BCT Aviation Kemble was the main sponsor for the flight and provided the aircraft and engineering back up.
More than £7,500 was raised by the event which will go towards the Children's Hospice South West's £15 million Appeal to build a new hospice near Bristol.
