Stories from the woods

THE Midnight Storytellers are back at the National Arboretum, Westonbirt on Saturday, June 14 at 7.30pm with more tales to tell.

Karen-Eve and Chloe will perform Midsummer Night Tales for their fourth summer concert at Westonbirt, which includes a moonlight Story Walk.

There will also be music from the Voices a cappella choir from Bristol.

After the interval the performers will escort their audience around the Festival of Gardens site, with tales to match the innovative mini-gardens.

"The Festival of Gardens' striking designs are inspiring us. The Voices choir does gorgeous close harmony singing, and for Karen-Eve and me it's a great chance to perform some quirky tales - you can expect modern stories as well as traditional folktales with outrageous new twists," said Chloe.

Please bring portable low chairs and warm clothes for after sunset.

Walking is easy, along level paths. The show will be under cover in the event of bad weather.

Not suitable for young children. Tickets and information from 01666 880220.
