THE Storyteller's Theatre Company adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic Victorian tale of Oliver Twist which comes to the Bacon Theatre at Dean Close School on Wednesday, May 28, has all the necessary ingredients to captivate audiences of all ages.
Following the fortunes of Oliver on an enthralling journey from the horrors of the workhouse, to the undertaker's shop and on through the backstreets of London, it not only tells the story of Oliver, Fagin, Nancy and the evil Bill Sykes, but also paints a picture of the Victorian underworld in London as Dickens knew it.
Using a full theatre setting The Storytellers re-tell the past as if it were today in a powerful and dramatic production with full filmatic underscoring.
The production, which begins at 2pm, is suitable for those aged seven years and upwards.
