Bristol Old Vic actors come to Cirencester

BRISTOL Old Vic Theatre School will be visiting Brewery Arts, Cirencester on Saturday, May 17 at 7.30pm with the last of the great Restoration comedies - The Beaux' Strategem by George Farquar.

Farquar's play offers a cornucopia of wit, colour, good humour and irresistible fun and gaiety.

Featuring a cast of colourful characters from two fortune hunting playboys, a highwayman, a landlord, his pert daughter, roguish servants to a highly dubious clergyman, there is a recipe for an appetising feast of disguises, mistaken identities and romantic assignments.

Bristol Old Vic Theatre School has enjoyed previous success at Brewery Arts with its productions of Love's Labours Lost in May 2002 and A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2001.

Tickets from the box office on 01285 655522.
