Three local tennis club set to join forces

A NEW partnership formed between the tennis clubs of Ashton Keynes, South Cerney and Minety is to be launched on Bank Holiday Monday, May 5.

The organisation, to be known as the Lakes Tennis Partnership, has employed Feraoun Hacine, who was in the French Davis Cup Squad and had a promising career as a professional player.

After an accident curtailed his rise, he took up coaching at all levels, from beginners and young children to professional players.

He will be attending each at the three venues during the day to meet club members and anyone interested in playing as follows:

Minety between 10am-12noon, Ashton Keynes 1-3pm and South Cerney 4-6pm.

Everyone interested in playing tennis is invited along to go and join in at no charge whatsoever.
