IF you're looking for a thrilling double dose of suspense, mystery, intrigue and romance, then look no further than Double Double at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham from Tuesday, January 28 to Saturday, February 1.
Starring Jonathon Morris (Bread) and Sabina Franklin (Keep It In The Family and Full House) this clever thriller is guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat as it twists and turns its way to a stunning climax.
Duncan McFee, played by Jonathon Morris, is nothing but a down-and-out - until he's picked up by Phillippa James (Sabina Franklin) and taken to her husband's luxury apartment.
It is, she explains, purely a business arrangement based on Duncan's uncanny resemblance to her husband who had, unfortunately, died a few weeks prior to his birthday on which he should have inherited a million pound trust fund.
A half share of the trust fund will be Duncan's if he poses as the deceased at the birthday party a week later and convinces the family solicitor that Phillipa's husband is alive and well. Simple? Perhaps - until love and lies get in the way.
Double Double is directed by Ian Dickens and has been described by the Sunday Times as "A glossy romantic thriller - it should be seen to be believed."
