Red Dwarf star takes his comic talents to Swindon

ONCE upon a time in a parallel universe, Robert Llewellyn was a member of The Joeys who made regular appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe and often mused on the complexities of male/female relationships.

Then fame beckoned in the form of Kryten in Red Dwarf, which in turn led to his current place on our television screens as presenter of Scrapheap Challenge.

Now he has struck out again with Woman Wizard, in which he launches a complex piece of software which can help men to understand women better - and he's coming to Swindon Arts Centre in Devizes Road on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, at 8pm.

There is great comic potential in this story of dot.connery and virtual reality, through this piece of software which allows men in long term relationships to travel through its "rooms," the kitchen, the laundry, even the car and the bedroom, to look at the various danger areas where men can get it wrong.

With the aid of a "Virtual wife," why not experiment and learn about a relationship without putting that relationship at risk? It's Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus territory, cleverly overlaid with the salesman's panache and computing technogeek speak.

And as every woman knows, while it will take men half a lifetime to get to grips with this complex piece of software, the corresponding product, Man Wizard, takes only seconds to download...
