FOLLOWING an amazing six years and over 2,000 shows in London's West End, the three members of The Reduced Shakespeare Company have packed their trunk with everything from skulls and skirts to daggers and dinosaurs to bring The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), their hysterically funny tribute to the Bard, to Bath's Theatre Royal where their show runs from July 22-27.
Having shrunk Will's wit and wisdom into a mere 97 minutes, they tear round the stage in tights and trainers to present all 37 plays in an exhilarating and irreverent whirlwind.
The show was nominated for an Olivier Award for best new comedy in 1997 and its hilarity has not dimmed in the years since then.
They have also produced fast-paced interpretations of The Bible, the Complete History of America and the Complete Millennium, to great acclaim. Tickets from the box office on 01225 448844 or www.theatreroyal.org.uk
