THE UK's leading interpreters of Jimi Hendrix's music and the music of ZZTop appear at Cirencester's Corn Hall on Saturday, July 20.
Voted the UK's best blues-rock band by the readers of Blueprint Magazine, and having performed over 3,000 concerts, The Hampsters have been hailed as one of Britain's very best live bands by Bob Harris of Radio 2.
Performing their own material alongside classics from Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top, they have appeared in concert and interviews on Radio 1, Radio 2 and MTV.
Band members have performed with artists such as Eric Clapton, Alison Moyet, Doctor Feelgood, Walter Trout and Alexis Korner.
They have "the tightest rhythm section in the business" says Blueprint Magazine, and guitarist Slim has recently been voted one of the top 100 guitarists of all time in a radio poll on LBC.
Tickets from Cirencester Visitor Information Centre on 01285 654180 or on the door.
