Classic tale of Robin gets a modern makeover

OPHABOOM Theatre's new production Robin Hood is being shown at Brewery Arts.

The group are performing their own version of the classical story on Thursday, May 30.

Using a blend of mask, physical characterisation and fast paced comedy the new show explores the parallels between the modern world and Medieval England.

The company won critical acclaim with recent productions of Faustus and The Hunch back of Notre Dame both in England and abroad.

Growing from its roots in the rural touring circuit their shows create material that is appropriate for a family audience without forfeiting the dark brand of satire that makes their performances hilarious and spectacular.

The show is suitable for children over the age of ten years old but there is no content unsuitable for younger children.
