Head back to the 1940s with a swing

SOUNDS OF The 1940s will be played at the Corn Hall in Cirencester on Saturday, May 25 .

Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra will be playing at the 1940s Night where people can dance to Big Band Swing Music.

People who attend the event are being encouraged to dress in the 1940s style with prizes for Best Dressed and Best Hair-Do.

Women from the WRVS will be dressed in their 1940s uniform serving tea and cake as they did during the air raids of the Second World War.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to WRVS, Royal British Legion as well as other Gloucestershire charities.

Tickets cost £10 and are available from the Corn Hall Tourist Office or on the door on the night.
