Genesis tribute

GENESIS tribute band, In The Cage, will be performing a special charity gig at Cirencester Royal Agricultural College at 7pm on Saturday, April 27.

Organisers Simon King, Richard Bartlett and John Lewis, from South Cerney, are staging the concert at the College's Boutflour Hall.

Mr King said: " We are all big Genesis fans and we've been to see In The Cage a few times and thought they were brilliant."

In The Cage is a Genesis revival band based in Kent, which incorporates all the classic 70s and 80s tracks from the Genesis and Peter Gabriel era into their set as well as a few more original songs.

Proceeds from the concert, part of the In the Cage Spring Tour, will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Cobalt Unit Cancer Campaign.

The tribute band has a strong following and has won praise from the Radio One duo Mark and Lard in their weekday show.

Tickets for the concert are available in advance at £5 each from Simon King on 01285 860701 or from Cirencester Tourist Information office.

Any spare tickets will be available to purchase on the door.
