ART teacher Dave Durston is going back to his roots for a new exhibition of his latest work.
The Cotswold School teacher is staging the first ever exhibition to be held at the Westwoods Centre in Northleach.
Mr Durston was a pupil at the former Westwoods Grammar School in the town and got the idea for the exhibition from a school reunion.
"I went to the Westwoods Centre for a reunion last summer," he said.
"I was a pupil at the grammar school and did my A levels there in 1967. I then went away to do my art training and came back to the school as a teacher."
He became head of art in 1979 and remained in the position until the grammar school closed in 1988.
He later took up the post of head of expressive arts at the Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water.
Mr Durston, who lives near Guiting Power, has set up print making and painting studios in the area.
His exhibition, which runs until Saturday, April 6 and was opened by Northleach mayor Alan Wellman, features a mixture of prints and drawings, some of which measure around 8ft.
It includes some historical works based on the terrorist attacks in America on September 11.
Mr Durston said: "The exhibition is a chance for me to be on the land where I spent a lot of my life growing up and teaching."
