Thomas fun at Steam museum

STEAM - the Museum of the Great Western Railway is staging "A Day Out With Thomas" on Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24 when young fans of Thomas the Tank Engine can meet the engine himself, ride on the mini 'Thomas' train, have their photo taken with the Fat Controller and enjoy lots of activities and games.

Children can get right up close and climb aboard their favourite character, as Thomas takes a welcome rest in the siding - don't forget to peep his whistle!

Sir Topham Hatt, the Fat Controller, will be around to make sure that Thomas doesn't get up to any mischief and all the family can ride on the mini Thomas road train and enjoy activities such as face painting, storytelling and a special competition trail.

The museum is next door to the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Centre in Swindon.
