Folk virtuosos together again

FOR the first time since the 1970s, Paul Downes and Phil Beer have teamed up for a brief reunion tour which brings them to Brewery Arts in Cirencester on Thursday, March 7 at 8pm.

Having met at college they formed a musical partnership which was to take them on the road until 1984 when Phil became a full time member of the Albion Band.

Since then they have both enjoyed successful careers, Paul with the Joyce Gang which he formed in the early 1990s and Phil with Steve Knightly as "Show of Hands" and his own group, the Phil Beer Band.

Phil's expertise on a variety of instruments and Paul's skill on the guitar will make this a real evening to remember.
