SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE
Variation Orders to the Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2017

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 29 November 2017 Swindon Borough made the above Orders under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is as follow:
Introduction of 'no waiting at anytime' along Purton Road (service road fronting property no's 1 to 15) and Introduction of limited waiting 2 hours, Mondayto Saturday8am - 6pm, no return within 1hour at Purton Road shops (parking area fronting shops)
VO 2 May Close and Firethorn Close
Introduce 'no waiting at anytime' on May Close and Firethorn Close.
VO 5 Swindon Street
Extend the 'no waiting and no loading at anytime' Swindon Street (east side) and Revocation of 'no waiting at anytime' restriction outside No's 5, & 6 and 18 &19 Swindon Street. Revocation of 'no waiting at any time' restrictions from outside No 32 for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction on Swindon Street (west side).
VO 11 Brewery Street
Remove 8 metres of 'no waiting at anytime' restriction on the west side of the Brewery Street Car Park access road, Highworth. The Orders will be operative as of 4 December 2017 and copies of the Orders may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours. If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 29 November 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
